City Code 21-31-- Return Check fee- $25.00 (late payment fee, per month- 1.5% of bill)
City Code 21-51-- Sewer Tap fee-- $300.00 + actual cost
Sewer rates, base-- $11.00
Ascending consumption rate
Rate 0-5,000 per 1000 gal-- $0.75
Rate 5,001-10,000 per 1000 gal--$0.85
Rate 10,001-25,000 per 1,000 gal--$0.95
Rate 25,001-50,000 per 1,000 gal--$1.05
Rate 50,001 + per 1000 gal--$1.15
A customer is charged a base sewer rate of $9.00, plus an additional charge based on averaging their November, December, and January water consumption or their current month's water consumption, whichever is lowest, based on the rate schedule.
Customers not having water consumption records for the months of November, December, and January shall their sewer rate calculated on their current month's water consumption until records are available.
